The Target Eco-Luxe capsule range introduces a number of approaches to sustainable living. Our approach is to be as transparent as possible with you, our consumers. Each product is designed to have longevity and quality.
We have multiple production changes that target our range specifically. Implementing new design aspects as well as choosing materials that don't harm the environment during production but instead benefit. We want these products to be recyclable or re-designed for future use.
Repreve
Repreve is the leading and most trusted branding performance fibre made from recycled materials. That include plastic water bottles.
Water bottles can take up to 1000 years to degrade.
This is how it works:
Step 1: sorted, washed and chopped in flake
Step 2: the clean flake is blended, melted and turned in reprieve recycled chips
Step 3: loaded into phylums which one hold the equivalent 27 million plastic water bottles
Step 4: the chip enters the extrusion and texturing process which then turns it into a quality fibres with inherent performance qualities.
As a result, the Eco-Luxe capsule will be implementing within its range Repreve's Breathe by Miliken tweed/textured fabrics.
These fabrics are made from plastic bottles diverted from landfills and employing a remarkable plant-based water repellent rather than harsh chemicals. It is fluorine-free and contains recyled polyester yarns. It is built to withstand the things daily life throws at them giving people the durability and stain-resistance the need for everyday living.

BCI Cotton
As a brand we have introduced new initiatives which includes the Better Cotton Initiative. BCI is a global not-for-profit organization. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. BCI aims to transform cotton production worldwide by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.
We will be implementing this into our range to help achieve this mission which will also result in helping to promote measurable and continuing improvements for the environment, farming communities and the economies of cotton-producing areas.

Weavable
As we continue our journey to be more sustainable, that includes the small things too. Weavable is a global production brand based in the UK, which provides companies with sustainable packaging and labelling solutions. The Eco-Luxe capsule will implement Weavable's new eco-friendly sustainable range to their swing tags, seals, printed labels and packaging.
FSC Papers
Paper swing tags always play an important role in the way a consumer interacts with your garments. Items with FSC accreditation have a full audit trail and only use materials from well- and purposefully-managed forests. With these, you know that the production of your garments’ tags is from a responsible source.
Biodegradable Seals
Seals made from substances which break-down over time reducing the environmental impact. Their time to degrade is between 2~5 years. Ideally, the conditions these tags should be in to degrade are in anaerobic conditions.
Ideal conditions for degrading: anaerobic conditions.
Biodegradable additive-treated articles can still be recycled and reused
Organic Cotton Woven Printed Labels
100% Organic Cotton Labels produced using GOTS certified materials. Organic cotton is generally defined as cotton that is grown organically in subtropical countries such as India, Turkey, China, and parts of the USA from non-genetically modified plants, and without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilisers or pesticides.
Eco-Friendly Poly Bags
100% recycled low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
Recycled LDPE is a material which is sourced from pre-consumer plastic waste. It is made by using LDPE offcuts from other products and then these are repurposed into new items. This waste would otherwise be landfill and therefore is a sustainable alternative to standard plastic. It is recyclable.
